Start Feeling Like Yourself Again

Persistent fatigue, brain fog, low libido, and poor sleep can be signs that something deeper is affecting your health. Instead of simply managing the symptoms, the goal is to understand what is causing them and build a treatment plan around your needs.

  1. Understand What Is Happening While You Sleep
A diagnostic sleep study can reveal whether breathing problems, including sleep apnea, are disrupting your sleep cycles and potentially affecting your energy, metabolism, and hormonal health.
  2. Treat Sleep Apnea With the Right Approach
If obstructive sleep apnea is identified, treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or another solution based on your specific needs. Keeping your airway open during sleep can help your body get the restorative rest it needs.
  3. Address Weight and Sleep Together
Sleep and weight can influence each other. Our medical weight management program gives you clinical support and a sustainable plan designed to improve your overall health, reduce factors that can contribute to airway obstruction, and support healthier sleep and hormone function.

Sleep Apnea

Breathe freely. Sleep deeply.

Sleep apnea is one of the most common — and most underdiagnosed — sleep disorders in the United States. Untreated, it contributes to cardiovascular disease, cognitive decline, diabetes, and significantly impaired quality of life. At Morning Lark, we provide complete care from initial evaluation through long-term management.

Common Symptoms

Common Symptoms

Our Treatment Approach

Chronic Insomnia

Quiet the mind. Restore your sleep.

Chronic insomnia — difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking too early despite adequate opportunity — affects roughly 10–15% of adults. It is rarely a standalone condition; anxiety, depression, chronic pain, and medications all play roles. Our approach addresses the full picture rather than simply prescribing a sleep aid.

Narcolepsy & Hypersomnia

Reclaim your waking hours.

Disorders of excessive daytime sleepiness — including narcolepsy type 1 and 2, idiopathic hypersomnia — are significantly underdiagnosed. Many patients live with debilitating sleepiness for years before receiving an accurate diagnosis. Our specialists have deep expertise in the full differential diagnosis of hypersomnia.

Sleep Studies & CPAP

Answers you can sleep on.

A sleep study is often the most important step toward diagnosis — and the quality of its interpretation matters enormously. Every study ordered at Morning Lark is read and interpreted by a board-certified sleep medicine physician, not outsourced. We offer both in-lab polysomnography and home sleep apnea testing depending on your clinical profile.

Sleep Testing (If Needed)

Depending on your presentation, we may order an in-lab polysomnography or a home sleep apnea test. Every study is read and interpreted by our board-certified sleep physician — never outsourced.

Personalized Treatment Plan

With results in hand, we design a treatment plan specific to your diagnosis, lifestyle, and goals — whether that's CPAP therapy, CBT-I, medication, or a combination.

Ongoing Follow-Up

Sleep disorders are chronic conditions. We schedule regular follow-ups to review progress, adjust treatment, and ensure you're experiencing lasting improvement — not just short-term relief.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a sleep study?

A sleep study is a diagnostic test that helps us understand what is happening while you sleep. Depending on the type of study, it may measure breathing, oxygen levels, heart rate, movement, and other factors that can help identify sleep disorders. At Morning Lark Sleep Medicine, we use sleep studies as part of a larger evaluation so we can better understand your symptoms and determine what type of treatment may help.

How do I know if I need a sleep study?

You may benefit from a sleep study if you regularly snore, wake up gasping or choking, feel exhausted even after a full night of sleep, struggle with excessive daytime sleepiness, or have been told that you stop breathing while sleeping. A sleep medicine consultation can help determine whether testing is appropriate for your symptoms.

Does Morning Lark offer home sleep studies?

Yes. Morning Lark Sleep Medicine works with sleep labs throughout Austin to provide home sleep studies as well as in lab sleep studies. A home sleep study allows certain sleep conditions, particularly suspected obstructive sleep apnea, to be evaluated while you sleep in your own bed.

Does ML offer virtual/telehealth visits?

Are there Cash pay options?

Yes, cash pay options are available upon request.
